Wendy Dennis, Writer
Wendy is a National Magazine Award-winning journalist and best-selling author who has written for The Walrus, Toronto Life, Saturday Night, Maclean's, the Globe and Mail, and many other publications. She has also worked as an editor at Toronto Life and Fashion magazines, and taught magazine writing and editing at Ryerson University . Wendy is the author of Hot and Bothered and The Divorce From Hell, based on the widely discussed Toronto Life story of the same name.
“One thing I have learned in more than twenty-five years as a journalist,” she says, “is that everyone has a story, and that often it's the so-called ordinary people who have the most extraordinary tales to tell. Having the chance to find out about the experiences that have shaped another human being—to unearth the story behind the story—is not only fascinating to me, but something that I consider a great privilege.”
